I am running for political office. I'm about to be a
candidate for Charter Commissioner in Macomb
County - District 7. This district is in Sterling Heights.
Those who are elected to the Charter Commission
will write the charter form of government for Macomb
County over the next two years. If anybody wishes to help me out or just wish me luck, I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

Hello everyone,

I didn't know about the reunion.  I don't really see anyone from high school anymore.  What have I been doing?  I have been married for almost 15 years to Bob.  He is a sargeant in the Ferndale Fire Department.  We have 2 children, Nicholas, 11, Brittany, 9.  I finished my BBA at Walsh College in Management and my Master of HR Management at Keller Graduate School.  I am a Regional Vice President of a private-post secondary school.  We built a house in Metamora, MI almost 2 years ago.  I lost my mom to breast cancer in November, 2006.  Sorry I didn't make the 20 year.  Maybe the 25.  It was to read the messages from everyone.  Hope you had a great time.

Hello All! It's great to see so many pics of the reunion and hear so many enjoyed it. Its crazy how many people I don't even recognize. I wish there were captions noting who is in each one. When reading thru the names and comments in the guestbook, my mind is just flooded with flash backs. Some fun and out-right hilarious, some utterly depressing. (and I thought I was fat back then, Lord help me now!) I didn't make the reunion, but would have really loved to see everyone, especially those who go all the way back to Salk Elementary days. Anyway, here's my update.....I am currently living in Macomb, MI. Have been married for 9 year to my wonderful husband, Emmanuel. We have two daughters, Carmella (7) and JoAnna (5). Earned a B.S. Degree from CMU and worked in Insurance/Estate Planning then at an Advertising firm before kids. Been a stay-home-mom since Carmella was born and wouldn't have it any other way. That about sums it up for now. Best wishes to all! ....Here's a bazaar tidbit of info - all 5 of my siblings still live local. Two married their FHS sweethearts and 11 out of my 13 nieces and nephews attend Fraser public schools - including a niece who already graduated from FHS in 2001. Kind of strange (even to me) but true.

I really appreciate everything that Sharon, Sheryl, Marci, Lisa, Joe R., Dean, and Joe K. have done to make that weekend awesome! Count me in for the 25th! On another note, my thoughts and prayers go to Cindy and her family. She has shown great courage and determination. She touched many hearts at the reunion! I know we're all praying for you, Cindy!

What a great time we all seemed to have. Many "old" friends that were not there were missed, but it was great to read your bios on this site. I'm so glad that we will be able to keep the site up and running. Thanks to Sheryl and Sharon for putting this all together. Some of those that it was especially nice to talk to were the old elementary (Salk) friends. I'm looking forward to the 25th reunion!!!

The reunion was wonderful. It truly seemed like everyone was enjoying everyones company. The bar night was just as fun as those of us who attended could visit comfortably and had more time on Saturday to visit those we hadn't talked to yet. Hats off Sheryl and Sharon for putting it all together. Can't wait until the 25th!!!!!!

Thank you to everybody for a great 20- year reunion. I was so glad to see all of you there. I was very impressed by how pretty the ladies looked. It was also nice to catch up with Pat Hentgen. Many of you talked politics with me over the reunion weekend since all of you know that I've been an activist for quite some time now. Some of you have also ex- pressed interest in helping me during the last few weeks of the mid-term elections. My party could use the help, and I can steer you in the right direction. Hi Class of '86 and thank you to those of you who have planned this reunion. After getting married in 1996 to my husband Rob whom I met while we were attending EMU I stayed in the Ann Arbor area and we raised his daughter who is now a senior in college! Just this summer we moved to Grosse Pointe Shores with our dog Fraser Crane to be closer to family and to the water but I am still making the long commute to A2 where I have been working at a Title Co. for the last 13 years. I found about the reunion a little too late to attend everything but look forward to seeing some of you on Friday night.

Hey dudes! Just a quick note to say hi to the fantastic class of 86! I wonder if Nick’s mom is still mad at me for planning the biggest summer bash at their home the summer before senior year!? Sorry I can’t make it back for the reunion. I live in Florida now after living in Denver, Kansas City, Seattle & Olympia WA, New Orleans (left my heart in N.O.), Savannah and now, Southwest Florida. Yes, I have dodged a few hurricanes! I’m in a great relationship with my girlfriend, Linda and we have 2 crazy cats and a beautiful black Labrador retriever, named Flamer! I have plenty of nieces and nephews to keep me busy… Take care and wish I could share a beer or two with ya’ll. Oh, I came “out” in 1989, worked in film & television, now work in college administration and freelance photography.

Hi to Class of 1986! It's hard to believe that it has been 20 years already! I have been living in the Grand Rapids area for the past 8 years and working in the field of human resources. I continue to spend time traveling and golfing whenever I can! I will not be able to attend the reunion but it has been great to read how everyone is doing. I did attend the opening game of 2006 Fraser Football Season to see the new stadium and watch the game under the lights - it brought back lots of memories! For those that are at the party on the 16th, have a great time!

Holy Smokes...20 years! Time flies when you're having fun. I currently live in northern Virginia, just outside Washington DC, with my wife, Jenny, and our two beautiful daughters, Josie and Emma. I was a Marine Corps pilot for almost 10 years stationed in California--MCAS Tustin and Miramar. I got out in 1999 and moved to Virginia to work for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), specifically working in their Aircraft Certification division. It's a pretty cool gig! Our family is pretty active with church stuff and in the process of moving into a bigger house. I'm sorry that we won't be able to make the reunion because we will be flying out to a family wedding in San Francisco during that time. I hope to make the next reunion. Take care and have a great time!!!

20 years has slipped by to quickly. I look forward to seeing old friends and classmates on the 16th. After Fraser High I went on to graduate from Albion College in 1990 with a degree in econ and management. I’ve been in commercial finance working for local banks or national finance firms since. I am currently attending Wayne State pursuing an MBA. I started playing lacrosse at Albion and have played ever since. My avocation in life has been lacrosse over these last 20 years. I have coached high school lacrosse at Troy High and Birmingham Schools and run leagues, clinics and camps over the last 16 years. I married my lovely wife in July of 2004 in Cordoba, Argentina. I need to thank Vic Bontomasi for making the trip as my best man. My wife and I live in Beverly Hills, MI. Thanks to all those who put this and the event together. Best to everyone in your lives.

Hello everyone. 20 years, a little over half my lifetime. That seems about right, high school seems just about forever ago. I haven't kept up well with most from Fraser, but it's great to hear how everybody's doing. I missed the 10 year reunion, but will make it to this one. Here's what I've been up to: I graduated from MSU in '91 after which I worked as a chemist analyzing hazardous waste for a couple years. Nasty job, I wouldn't recommend it. After that, I switched careers and got into engineering. Now I'm a Sr. engineer with Siemens. I'm currently working on my masters in mechanical engineering and will have that done next May. I married my college sweetheart, Michele 13 years ago. We have a 10 year old son, Andrew. He's truly amazing. It blows my mind how fast he is growing up. Michele and I also try to stay active. We will run our second marathon this fall. We currently live in Belleville but plan on moving closer to my job next spring. Possibly Rochester or Lake Orien. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone on Sep. 16th. Until then, take care.

Hi everyone, It has been great reading everyone's notes to see how all of our lives have changed. After graduating from CMU I started working as an IT headhunter for a few years, took a 5 year break to work at a Bank and then went back to the recruiting biz. My current and last job is amazing. I created and run the recrutiing dept. for a full service employment agnecy in Troy (Jawood Management). Dave and I both work a heavy part time schedule so we can both stay home to raise the kids. It is busy, but great! Dave and I will be celebrating our 6th anniversary this September on Mackinac Island where we were married. Since we were married we have moved from my house in Royal Oak to a great place on Lake Orion. Lake living is a blast. We have also traveled to Europe, done a lot western skiing and have taken many trips to Arizona to see my parents. We have 2 amazing baby boys, that are the brightest part of each day. Connor just turned 3 and Logan is 15 months. It is amazing how children change and evolve your life. Dave and I are looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion. See you soon, Erica

I wish that I was able to come back for the reunion! I am living in the San Francisco Bay area with my husband and three kids. We just moved and had our third baby in the last six months. Too busy and crazy to get on a plane right now! After I graduated from MSU I moved to Boston and worked as a graphic designer for 10+ years before retiring and becoming a stay at home mom. We have moved back and forth between Boston and San Francisco a few times and love both cities, but we are hoping to settle here for the long haul! Have a great reunion!

I have to admit, I had to get the year book out to look up some of your names. Either my memory is going, or I didn't invest too much time into my high school experience. I got married in '98 to a fabulous, younger man (by 1 year and 4 months) and we now have a the challenge of our lives - our two year old daughter Riley. I have been teaching 5th grade at Duncan Elementary in Utica where now the tables are turned - I get to assign the homework! I'm not sure if I'll be at the reunion, but I'd love to hear from the few who know who I am!

Hello class of 1986. Reading your notes has been really cool. Its been 20 years. Ya, it seems like it. A whole lot has been going one since then. I graduated from Oakland University. I had a few different jobs and a whole bunch of side projects. I have been married to my wonderful wife Sarah for 6 years on September 2nd. I was a martial artist for many years. I became a volunteer minister for my church and was voted top volunteer minister for the past three years. I was ordained a full Minister about 4 years ago. This weekend I married a very dear friend of mine. I hope we have as good of weather as they had. So I ,like most people, like to help people out. So I provide people with effective, workable and doable help. I have several side projects going on. Some are really cool. We just bought a 140 year old fixer upper in the Village of Holly Michigan. It been a lot of work but over the past several months it has been changed dramatically. I really wish everyone well and all the best. I am planning on being at the show. I am happy we are getting together. The last I heard was it would never happen again. I admire the people who are putting it all together. Thank you.

HI! I have been married to Phil Sahutske ('85) for almost 14 years. We have 3 children (8, 6, and 4 years old). I was a Special Ed. Teacher for a number of years, then resigned from my position to stay at home with the kids. I am currently looking into pursuing another Master's degree and renewing my teaching certificate so I can get back into the classroom. I am sorry that we missed the 10 year, but Phil was working in Europe at the time and we were doing a lot of travelling! We live in Shelby Township and enjoy spending our free time in Caseville.

Well, whats happened since our ten year reunion... I've been married 14 yrs and am the mother of two, Katrina 6 yrs and Elena 2 months. I relocated my horse business to Ocala Florida (North of Orlando), which is now home to my World and National Champion show horses. I am still in commercial insurance sales for Brown & Brown insurance, the 7th largest insurance firm in the U.S. In my spare time I volunteer at my daughter's school and church. My favorite time is spent with my family, horses and riding my Harley Davidson. I will not be at the reunion. School begins in August. I know you will have have a great time. Please email me. By the way, I want to know if anyone is hiding their parachute pants in their closet.

Hello Everyone... Eeeek! 20 years. When I was 18 looking at people our age, I always thought they were so old...what a different perspective. I've been with LexisNexis for five years and work a Strategic Account Manager in the Risk Division (fraud detection and prevention). Looking forward to seeing you all later this year.

Greetings Class of 86! Wow, I can't believe 20 years went by so quickly. I am looking forward to the reunion. It will be a lot of fun. So this is what I have been up to...I have been married to Paul for 16 years. We have 3 children, our son Paul is 15, our daughters Jenna 13 and Milena 10. My family and I reside in Washington twp, Michigan. I was employed for the last 6 years at Allegra Direct as a claims analyst for Blue Cross, but recently changed career paths. I am a desperate housewife for the summer(Ha! Ha!) and will find a new occupation in the fall. Although, I could get use to this simple life. Thanks to eveyone for putting the reunion together. Hello Class of 86! This website makes me feel old! I married Allan (fellow UofM grad) 12 years ago and we have two fabulous kids -- Michael 10 & Leah 6. I worked in advertising as a media planner/buyer for 5 years before having my kids -- now I'm a stay-at-home-mom. Wouldn't want anyone else to do that job for me. We live in Bloomfield Hills and since my parents moved out of Fraser 5 years ago, I haven't been back. Not sure if I'll make the reunion but it's great to read everyone's updates. I'd love to hear from any of my "old" friends. keep in touch!

It's hard to believe that 20 years have gone by already....I'm looking forward to the reunion to catch up with people I haven't seen in those 20 years. I've been married to Mike for 16 years and have 4 children - Jocelyn and Cassidy are 11 years old, Isabelle is 7 and Andrew is almost 6 years old. We moved to the outskirts of Cincinnati, Ohio a little over 2 years ago and are enjoying a slower-paced life. I worked as a designer for Valeo in Auburn Hills for 10 years but when we moved I changed careers.....now, I'm a stay-at-home. Can't wait to catch up with everyone!

Hello! I’ve really enjoyed reading up on everyone, so it’s only fair that I include a 20-year summary in one paragraph or less. I’ve been happily married for 16 years and have two fantastic kids, Zachary (9) and Erin (7). For the past 18 years, I’ve been employed by Balzers, Inc. (www.bus.balzers.com) where I’ve had a few different careers within the company, traveled extensively in the US and Europe and now am currently an operations manager – which requires less travel and is better for the family. I hope to be at the reunion – it would be great to get caught up in more detail with everyone. Take care.

Hello to everybody from the Fraser High School class of 1986. I hope to see all of you there at the reunion. I've been heavily involved in Macomb County politics for almost a decade now. I've been an activist and a precinct delegate. I'm very well connected with many political heavyweights from Michigan. (I'll let you figure out which of the two major parties I'm a member of!) Anyway, I am running for an office for the 2006 mid-term elec- tions. I'm not going to give you any hints or details, but you'll know what it is before the reunion. If everything goes as planned, you'll see my name on the ballot. I could use help from all of you to win my election. I'd love to see all of you, my old friends, from the great Fraser High School class of 1986.

Hello everyone. I was in Detroit recently and heard about the reunion website through Dave Diebold. Talk about flashback. 20 years has flown by. After high school, I attended Grand Valley State ('91). From there, I worked a few years, then went to night school at Wayne State (MS,'96). Essentially, I make a living as a safety/risk management professional. I've been married (Heidi Dittmar - Sterling Heights Stevenson '83) for 12 years and have three boys (Kyle-8, Keegan-5, Noah-1). I enjoy being a dad, but as many of us know, it's not without it challenges. We live in Carmel, IN (suburb of Indianapolis). Previously, we lived in Washington Twp, MI, and Des Moines, IA. My in-laws live in Sterling Heights and possibly we will attend the reunion. Thanks to those who are putting it together. Take care. Dan J.

I work out of Chicago and live here in MI and have a house in Texas (gets complicated at times). I'm divorced and have a beautiful 8 year old daughter that is the "love" of my life! Can't wait to see you all! p.s. I'm recovering from back surgery right now so parts of the body are definately showing signs of a "20-year-reunion" ha-ha.

Hello, everyone! I sure don't feel like it's been 20 years!! I have been married 13 years. We have 3 wonderful children--Skyler-11, Nicholas-9, and Kyle-7. We live in Macomb. I teach 5th grade in Richmond and recently attended a teacher training workshop through the MISD. It was held at Richards in the only hallway left of the old part of the building (the 80's wing). That was quite a blast from the past!! There were a few teachers from way back when in the class with me. It was interesting to watch their reactions when I would tell them I had them when I was in 7th, 8th, and/or 9th grade and my 20 year reunion was this year!! Anyway, this website is fun to visit. See you in September!

Hi, so glad to see we are having a 20 year reunion! Thanks for putting this all together. I am currently living in Utah. No, my husband didn't want another wife. His work brought us out here, of all places, 50 states and we end up here. It's beautiful out here but strange, never the same as where you come from. Married to that guy I met in Florida on spring break! Been married for 15 years, two kids, boy almost 13 and a girl 8. I have fond memories of Fraser, the city and school. Would love to hear from you guys.

I have been married for 13 years this October, have a son 10 years old this May and a daughter who just turned 4 this past December......cannot believe that my son is turning 10 and almost in Jr. High (yikes!!).......Have been an Accounting Manager in automotive for 10 + years now....very scary place to be these days working for a tier II, but at least I can say I'm still holding a job - most OEM and Tier I job holders might understand that comment. I'm finding the job market for non-automotive is tough, but the findings are there, just have to keep looking! Anyhow, I am truly looking forward to seeing old high school friends, also hopefully catching up with some old Dooley Elementary friends as well! Hi everyone, I'm not sure how many of my old classmates remember me? My mom passed away suddenly in 1984 and I dropped off the face of the earth. My big regret was not saying goodbye to good friends so it would be a joy to come to the 20th reunion even though I didn't end up finishing with the class of 1986 at Fraser. But if I 'm still able to be invited it would be great to catch up with some old faces. My god it's been 20 years allready? Please drop me an e-mail and let me know how the class would feel or call me at (248) 548-5084 I wasn't able to stay in touch with anyone from that time in my life and it would be great to catch up. Hope to hear from you soon, Doug Forbes

Hi, Glad to hear about a reunion. I am married with 3 month old twins (boy and a girl). I have been working in the sign business for 16 years. I am in charge of the graphic design department. My wife is chief of equalization for Oakland County. We live in Warren. I'll keep checking back. Scott
